This year, we will start the season with a real barn burner between two undefeated teams, both of which have been champions and have top coaches. Johnathan Alston, coach at Newark Science Parks in Newark, NJ and David Paul, coach at Inwood Early College High School in Manhattan, NY, met on zoom and flipped a coin, which went to Newark Science Parks. Mr. Alston chose the subject “should people in prison be allowed to vote?”. Newark took the affirmative. The two coaches will work out the date of the debate and we will announce it. Each week, we will publish the results of the debates between each school on our word YouTube channel.
